Rye Whisky and Cranberry "Zing"

Canadian Rye whisky 1.4 oz.   40 ml
Cranberry juice 2 oz.   60 ml
Ginger juice* a few drops    
Cane sugar ½ teaspoon 3 g  
Ice cubes      

Rye Whisky and Cranberry "Zing"In a glass, dissolve the cane sugar in the cranberry juice.

Add a few drops of ginger, to taste.

Add 2 ice cubes and the rye. Stir.

* Grate fresh ginger. Press the pulp to get the juice.
